Fall Ball

Fall Ball Registration Now Open!

We are pleased to announce registration for our 2014 Fall Baseball and Softball season. Online registration will be open from July 28th - August 25th. PBSF's Fall Ball season runs from early September through mid-November and primarily consists of Sunday games, usually without any weekday practices. Fall Ball is a great way for experienced players to sharpen skills in a game-based format, and at the Pinto baseball/U8 softball level provides a low-key opportunity for less-experienced players to try something new. We are looking forward to a fun and spirited fall campaign.

As a reminder, participation in Fall Ball does not create priority for spring registration. Please make certain to review the specific (and sometimes unique) information for the baseball and softball registration process.

Please note: Players will not be notified about team assignments until after Labor Day. However, families should expect that the first game will be scheduled on Sunday, September 7th. Lastly, we cannot always accommodate requests to play with specific players and/or coaches.

The player's age on April 30, 2015 determines the player's division for Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 seasons. All players must register in their age-appropriate division following age guidelines established by USA Baseball, the governing body for amateur baseball, and Pony Baseball, of which PBSF is a member.

Due to high demand and limited field space, Piedmont residency or enrollment in PUSD or a Piedmont-based school is required for baseball. Players from outside Piedmont, who have played for PBSF in past years, can register but will be notified of final acceptance once registration has closed and our capacity is reviewed.

5/1/08 - 4/30/09
Shetland No Fall Ball 5-6
Pinto $115 7-8 5/1/06 - 4/30/08
Mustang $140 9-10 5/1/04 - 4/30/06
Bronco $190* 11-12 5/1/02 - 4/30/04
Pony $190 13-14 5/1/00 - 4/30/02

*Bronco players who have previously been selected to play on the fall tournament team must register to participate. These players will be charged additional fees at a later date to cover added costs of the tournament program.

The player's age on December 31, 2014 determines the player's division for Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 seasons.

U6 No Fall Ball 5-6 1/1/08 - 12/31/09
U8* $75 7-8 1/1/06 - 12/31/07
U10 $75 9-10 1/1/04 - 12/31/05
U12/14 $75 11-14 1/1/00 -12/31/03

*For the U8 division, players who are Piedmont residents, or enrolled in PUSD or a Piedmont-based school will receive enrollment priority. Players who do not meet these criteria will be placed on a waitlist until after registration has closed and capacity for the division is assessed.
